Yesterday I finally had this photo printed and hung it on canvas in our bedroom.
And I want to write a bit more, because it feels important.
I didn’t come back to these photos for a long time, because the session happened during a very difficult period in my life. That heaviness is slowly fading, but it’s taking time.
So when I opened the photos for the first time in March, I was suddenly flooded with warmth — with good memories of how it felt during those moments when things weren’t bad.
In the end, the hard parts will be forgotten anyway.
But this good feeling stayed. And it will stay forever.

Recently, I had a wonderful day spending time with an amazing photographer, Lena.
A year ago, my dear friends gave me a gift certificate for a photo session, but I kept postponing it — I didn’t really want to go. And yet, I finally did… and it was absolutely amazing!
A walk through the park with a heartfelt conversation, and the joy of seeing the photos afterwards, made me feel genuinely happier.

This spring, I decided to do a professional photo session for the first time. I reached out to Lena — and was really happy with both the process and the result.
First of all, we worked together on the looks, and it turned out to be a perfect match.
Second, during the shoot itself, I felt completely comfortable — calm kindness really can save the world (and introverts too 🙂).
And finally, the photo selection: there were even more good shots than I expected, and Lena helped me choose the best ones. Along the way, I learned a lot about my face, flattering angles, and other not-so-obvious things.
