ABOUT ME

I’m Lena, a photographer based in Luxembourg, focusing on portraits and family photography.

I’ve been photographing people since 2015, and over time I’ve come to understand that photography is much more about feelings than images.
That’s why my work isn’t about perfect poses or strict timing. It’s about slowing down, feeling safe, and being accepted just as you are.

I don’t photograph for myself — I photograph for the people who come to me.
I truly believe that everyone is beautiful, and my goal is to help you see it too — sometimes for the very first time.

HOW THE SESSION WORKS

When we work together, there’s no rush. We don’t constantly look at the clock — we work towards a good result, not a time limit.

We talk, move, laugh, take pauses for tea or coffee.

I’m always nearby and never leave you alone with the camera.

At the beginning, I can gently guide you, but our real goal is to find your own way of moving and being — something that feels natural, without copying anyone else.

There’s no pressure to perform.
You don’t need to know what to do in front of the camera.
You can be quiet, awkward, emotional, tired or joyful — all of it is welcome.

At some point, the camera almost disappears.
What remains is how it feels.

ABOUT THE RESULT 

I don’t share raw files.
For me, photography is a finished piece — it matters how the images are chosen, cared for and presented.

You’ll receive the final photographs, carefully selected and thoughtfully edited.
The retouching is very light — just small, temporary details that might distract from the moment. I don’t change bodies, faces or proportions.

I love messy hair, freckles, wrinkles, moles and real expressions.

What matters most to me isn’t a single “perfect” image, but a feeling — your connection to yourself, to the people you love and to the moment you were in.

I hope that when you look through your gallery, it feels warm and true to you.
